Junior Groups & Squads Terms & Conditions

Junior groups and squads cost $190-250 for a 10 week term and needs to be paid in full at the beginning of term before they start their first lesson. We cannot accept any child on the court without full payment. No pay no play.

There are no makeup sessions for groups or squads missed due to illness, injury or absence. No refunds or credits offered unless we are able to fill the spot in the class you have booked. One wash-out is included within a class term.

If 2 or more lessons in a given term are washed out before 50% of the lesson is complete, credit for each lesson after the first wash-out will automatically be applied to your CBT account. Your credit remains in your account for up to 12 months and will be automatically applied to your next invoice. You also have the choice to use this credit for any other service at CBT.

Groups and squads can be cancelled due to too much rain, nearby thunder, temperature above 38C (based on the BOM’s “actual temperature” of Coogee) or poor air quality of API 151+. In this case we will send you an SMS message as soon as we can. If you don’t get a message then presume the lesson is on!

Red ball classes have a term average of 4 kids per coach per court. All other types of classes have a term average of 6 kids per coach per court.

Coaches will assign each child to a group appropriate to their playing ability based on ability and age.

We encourage silver/gold squad players to enrol in comps and play at least twice a week. Players playing regular competition or tournaments will be given first option to play in these squads.

Everyone enrolled in a class/squad is required to bring their own tennis racquet. There are a small number of junior racquets available to borrow if needed if it’s your first lesson or you a trialling a class.

If at any time your usual coach is unavailable, a suitable substitute coach will replace them.

During the course of our Tennis programs some photos may be taken and they may be used on our website or on printed material. Should you not wish for your child to be a part of this please put this request in writing and email it to – info@cbtennis.com.au.

You are not to leave your child on the Eastern Suburbs Tennis Club’s premises. As a parent you agree you will be onsite for the whole duration of the lesson and understand that your child is not in the Eastern Suburbs Tennis Club’s duty of care.
