Court Hire

Coogee Beach Tennis has courts available to hire for members and non-members.

Our court rental is only for the court, so please bring your own balls and racquets. While you can purchase balls in the shop for $16, we no longer provide rental equipment for court hires.

Please, while booking a tennis court, make sure to select your desired AM/PM timeslot correctly. Thank you.

Safety

Due to our extensive operating hours, we cannot always guarantee a certified first aid officer will be onsite. It is the responsibility of the court hirer to have their own first aid supplies and know that first aid will not be available to them at all times.

Cancellations

A casual booking may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the booking time and a credit will be provided for future use.

Playing Over Time

It is the responsibility of the hirer to finish playing at the designated time. If the court is vacant after the expired period, the hirer may extend their session and an additional charge will be applied.

Court Hire Terms and Conditions

Wet Weather:

Our synthetic grass courts shed water very well and will usually only be unplayable after prolonged heavy rain.

If the rain stops, the courts will generally be playable again after approximately one hour in warm weather and up to two hours in colder weather. Determination of play-ability during wet weather is at the sole discretion of the Court Manager. Credit will be applied to your account if play is deemed as unsafe.

If your booking is cancelled by us due to wet weather, you will receive an email with a court hire credit voucher. This credit can be used for any future booking through our online court booking system.

If you have not received an email with your credit voucher number, please email the Pro-shop with your booking details to request it.

No refunds are given.

Coaching:

Only employees of the club can use CBT’s courts for coaching purposes. To protect the integrity and professionalism of CBT’s coaching program, court hires cannot appear to look or sound like a coaching lesson. This includes; using a basket of tennis balls, ball machines, more than a dozen balls on one court or verbal coaching instruction. If a CBT staff member deems a court hire is being used for coaching purposes, they will be asked to leave the premises and their CBT court hire access will be blocked.
