Tennis Activities During COVID-19 Lockdown

Due to the NSW Government’s lockdown restrictions until 16/7/2021, please read the following temporary arrangements that were put in place during this period to allow our tennis activities to continue whilst making all efforts to keep our players safe.

Please follow Health NSW orders and stay home if you have symptoms and/or visited one of the hotspots listed on the Health NSW website. The list is being updated throughout the day so please keep an eye on the latest locations list on the following link.

Court Bookings

Our courts are OPEN and hiring a court is possible with the following conditions:

  • Wearing masks outside of the courts is mandatory
  • Clubhouse and Pro Shop are closed during the lockdown, so please book online
  • Four players to a court maximum
  • Do not gather before or after your court hire (arrive, play and promptly leave)
  • Do not touch another courts tennis ball, racket or any other equipment
  • Ensure you wash your hands thoroughly before and after play
  • Maintain a safe social distance of 1.5-metres at all times
  • Service NSW check-in is mandatory for each player
  • Most of all and just after the safety of others, have fun and enjoy some exercise!

Coaching

 All Adult groups, ladies clinic, junior classes, private lessons, tennis fit and strength & conditioning are ON.
 Red ball classes are CANCELLED.

Competitions tennis

All competition tennis including Tuesday, Thursday, Badge and Sunday comps are temporarily suspended.

Social tennis

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 

Will run in a temporary mode as follows and we will also extend social tennis to Friday nights:

Early – 5.00 – 7.00 PM – max 20 players (16 on Fridays)

Late 17.00 – 9.00 PM – max 20 players

Late 29.00 – 11.00 PM – max 20 players

Saturday 3 July only (10 July to be reconfirmed upon Tennis NSW advice re Badge comp resuming)

Session 1 – 3.00 – 5.00 PM – 16 players

Session 2 – 5.00 – 7.00 PM – 20 players

Session 3 – 7.00 – 9.00 PM – 16 players

IMPORTANT NOTE: if you can’t see your preferred time slot in registration system it means that session is full and therefore unavailable for you to play. If you’d like to reconfirm that please call Clubhouse after 4.00PM weekdays or 2PM on Saturday. DO NOT COME WITHOUT RECONFIRMING!

Booking priority is given to those players who registered online. So please let us know if you don’t have your login set up as yet. Secondly we will accept email bookings however those will be confirmed once staff commence its shift from 4.00PM on the day and will notify you if you are booked. Voicemails will be the last to be accommodated and staff will get back to you. So please set up your online account and book and pay ahead of coming to the club.

– You must Check in the Clubhouse to Service NSW app. Please arrive min 10 min early to help us with orderly check in and court allocation.

– Clubhouse is CLOSED with exception of using toilet facilities, Service NSW check in, pay for your tennis and you will be able to purchase non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for take-away only

– We encourage you to book/pay for your tennis online to avoid unnecessary crowding at the door

– Staff on duty will set up water bottle refill station on nature strip outside of the club

– Staff will prepare social tennis rosters and will direct social players on courts as usual. !!Please remain on court at the end of 30 min set and wait for next court allocation. Once you have been allocated the next court please make your way out from the court and enter the new court through the Pro Shop side gates unless you remain on the same court or play on adjacent court!!  

– You must keep 1.5 m distance while waiting for your next match, during change overs and within the Clubhouse

– For the safety of all your fellow members please wear masks when not playing and at all times when entering the club and bathrooms

– There will be one way traffic arrangements through the main door into the Clubhouse and out via gym and bathroom corridor. Please respect those rules. Floor has been marked up accordingly
